Overview
After consulting with you (the client), and thoroughly reviewing the site, we will recommend design and technical modifications. The key to this project is determining the most productive keywords/categories, building optimized supplemental pages around them, evaluating results, then refining and resubmitting periodically. We believe this focused, ongoing approach will be the most effective.

Review
After consultation and agreement on basic strategy, the entire site is reviewed:

• Keyword/URL ranking report
• design efficiency (regarding search engines)
• meta tag placement
• present search engine and directory positioning
• competitor site analysis
• link analysis

Preparation
Site pages are prepared for submission:

• Design modifications
• keyword research
• meta tag revision (keywords and copy) and installation instructions
• "supplemental" page design & construction

Supplemental pages will be created based on keyword popularity and then content topics. They will be optimized for a "general" search engine or directory listing.

Submission
Site and page submission takes place in two phases:

1. To expedite the process, after the keyword research has been completed, we can submit to Yahoo and Looksmart as well as all the pay-per-click engines.
2. After the existing pages have been modified and supplemental pages have been created and posted, we submit to the remaining search engines and directories:

• to all the remaining major search engines and directories (about 15)
• to a second level of search engines and directories (up to 40)
• to a specialized list of niche directories, award sites, etc. (up to 50)

• research into individual search engine options such as proprietary channels, directories, etc.
• suggestions or solicitations for editorials, etc.
• research options for leveraging banner placements and purchase

Link popularity
Link popularity has become increasingly important in determining search engine rankings. We will recommend a customized strategy once the main research has been completed.

• initial (6 week) review, and assessment for positioning results, trend analysis
• adjustments and changes recommendations and implementation

• search engine ranking by keyword report (initial and 6 week)
• submission & verification logs

Follow-up and maintenance 
After six weeks, we will evaluate your positioning and results and recommend  adjustments to the site and resubmit pages as necessary.
